We didn’t have a lot of resources at home when I was growing up. We were living paycheck to paycheck. My only option to see the world was to see it online. I would visit web forums and other communities to interact with people around the world. Unfortunately, I wouldn’t be able to visit those incredible locations that they are from. Then a brilliant idea hit me. I would dedicate my energy towards digital marketing. I could use the digital culture skills I learned and make a career out of it. This would be a pivotal point in my childhood that would lead me to where I am today.
What Motivates You to Get Out of Bed Each Morning?
Some mornings can be pretty rough. I sometimes feel like I could just lay in bed all day and browse on my phone. YouTube is my biggest addiction. However, I always motivate myself to get up in the morning because I have dedicated my life to help those who need my services. I don’t see myself as a superhero or someone who is incredibly gifted. However, I do know that the skills that I have acquired truly help people. I love to help people and know that part of their success was because of my actions. This is one of the biggest motivating factors that help me get out of bed each morning.
What Practices Do You Perform Each Day to Make Sure You’re Working Optimally?
Exercise is one of the most important things that any entrepreneur can do for themselves. I am constantly sitting down at the computer each day. I’ll go for hours on end and not move. Sitting in place for hours may seem like the most productive method, but in reality, frequent breaks and light exercise help maintain efficiency. We need to constantly move in order to reap the benefits of exercise.
I always make sure to get a good workout done in the morning. This gives me the boost of energy that I need to keep going throughout the day. However, I will take a break every hour or so to get up and perform light exercises. This keeps my mind sharp and gives me a little boost of energy here and there. Exercise is a much better alternative to coffee in the long run.
Was There Ever a Point Where You Doubted Your Work?
I have my doubts regularly. The thing that most people don’t understand about entrepreneurs is that your most important skill is problem-solving. There are always things that will become roadblocks for you. They will cause you to doubt your abilities and make you feel worthless. I experienced some of these recently. However, the other most important skill an entrepreneur can develop is persistence. Work through those negative emotions and get comfortable with them. They will arise from time to time. However, it is up to you to handle them appropriately before they ruin your day.

Always make sure to surround yourself with people who will uplift you. Avoid negative people. They will only make your life ten times harder than it needs to be.
