1.When did you start blogging?
I started blogging about 10 years ago, but just got serious about it in 2010.
2.Do you make money from your blog?
I do make a small amount of money from my blog, that’s one area I really need to spend more time on, yet, I don’t want it to become just an ad based blog, simply because visiting a website with pop ups, or ads everywhere, annoys me and I just close the page without viewing it when I come upon sites like that.
3.What is one tip new bloggers could benefit from?
Find you passion, whether it be a mom type blog, product reviews, political, anything that truly interests you or that you know a great deal about, and write!
4.What has been your best form of marketing for your blog?
Social Media marketing has worked really well for us.
5.Do you consider your blog a “job”?
Yes, I do, a part time job as I also work a full time job.
6.How do you keep yourself motivated?
I can get motivated by just discovering a new product or travel destination, so, for me, that’s pretty easy.
7.What is one personal achievement you’re proud of?
Building my blog enough that I’ve had the honor of spending half an hour with actress Jane Seymour, who I’ve admired for years, and even named one of my daughters after one of the strong women she portrayed in a TV show, and spending the day with Godsmack and two of the Southern Charm gentlemen.
8.What advice would you share with yourself when you were 18 years old?
Carefully weigh your decisions!

Networking with other bloggers can really help you out when you start your blog, you have the opportunity to build trust and even good friendships with your fellow bloggers.
