When Dr. Aaron Rollins made the decision to pursue his medical degree, he did so with the knowledge that he would therefore have the opportunity to help a great deal of people while having a positive influence on their lives. As the founder of Elite Body Sculpture, Dr. Rollins has also been able to combine his passion for science and medicine with his passion for fine art and sculpture, all while offering patients an exceptional level of care as they undergo the innovative laser liposuction procedures available through the practice he founded.
Aaron Rollins attended medical school at the McGill University Faculty of Medicine, which is located in Montreal, Canada. McGill University is also the university from which he earned his undergraduate degree in psychology. During his time as an undergraduate student, Dr. Rollins took advantage of the art program offered at McGill, studying sculpture along with other courses available as electives in fine arts. After earning his medical degree, Dr. Rollins completed his residency for general surgery at the University of California at San Francisco as well as at the University of Miami.
Since completing his academic and residency requirements, Dr. Rollins has earned a number of professional certifications and affiliations, including with the American Board of Laser Surgery, the American Academy of Cosmetic Surgery, the American Society of Liposuction Surgery, the World Academy of Cosmetic Surgery, and the American College of Surgeons. Dr. Rollins has also been recognized for his innovative work in the medical field with a number of honors and awards, including the I.D.E.A. Bronze Medal for Medical Inventions, the Golden Key National Honor, and Compassionate Doctor Certification, among many others.
An exceptional medical practitioner, Dr. Rollins is recognized by his industry peers as a pioneer responsible for developing innovative practices that yield a number of tremendous benefits for his patients. Dr. Rollins has also served an important role in educating the public on the nature of the procedures offered at Elite Body Sculpture, as he has made countless media appearances on programs that include Good Morning America, Good Day LA, Extra, and even on European outlets RTL and Nova TV.
1. What was your best/favorite subject in school?
I was equally interested in both science and art, especially biology and sculpture.
2. What was your first job?
I knew very early on that I wanted to pursue a career in medicine, so any free time I had was devoted to volunteering or interning at hospitals and other medical facilities.
3. Where and how did you first get into the industry you currently work in?
I was fortunate to have a mentor who recognized my unique talents and offered advice on how to best put those talents to work.
4. How have those jobs prepared you for what you do now?
I have a lot of experience in varied aspects of the medical field, so I have been able to apply what I have learned over the years to my current practice.
5. Describe the best day of work you’ve ever had.
I’m very fortunate to work in a field in which I am able to help so many people achieve goals that are so important to them, so I am constantly surrounded by people who are unbelievably excited to be well on their way to achieving such a critical goal.
6. How do you keep yourself motivated?
My patients offer all the motivation I could ever need.
7. What kind of business ideas excite you most?
I know the goal of every business is to generate profit, but I find the business ideas that are most rewarding are those that bring about the greatest amount of happiness in others.
8. Have you ever tried any unorthodox techniques to attract attention to your business?
No, we haven’t tried anything that could be considered truly unorthodox. The practice generally relies on our media appearances as well as the praise offered by our previous patients to attract attention to the business.
9. What personal achievement are you most proud of?
I’m proud of the fact that we now have offices in Houston, Sacramento, New York, and Beverly Hills.
10. What wisdom would you have liked to share with yourself when you first started out?
I wish I could have predicted just how quickly the demand for our services would skyrocket so I could have created a more detailed expansion plan right from the start.
