Krishen Iyer

Krishen Iyer, a digital marketing expert specializing in client interfacing and technical development, brings unique insight and expertise to his role as an online partner with Quick Link Marketing, now known as Managed Benefits Services. As an online partner, Krishen plays a pivotal role in the company’s ability to carry out its core objectives, including fostering connections between lead-generation companies and the firms most in need of a specific kind of marketing solution.

A graduate of San Diego State University with a bachelor’s degree in public administration and urban development, Krishen has long demonstrated an uncommon level of intellectual curiosity, a quality which, especially when paired with his exacting approach to his professional responsibilities, makes him particularly effective in carrying out his duties as an online partner with Quick Link Marketing (Managed Benefits Services). During his time with the California-based company, Krishen has been instrumental in creating an exceptionally productive and collaborative environment among team members.

In addition to his rewarding professional career, Krishen is also an active member of his local community and volunteers in support of a wide range of causes whenever possible, including recent cleanup efforts focused on beautifying Woodward Park. Krishen’s charitable and philanthropic efforts extend beyond the local community, of course, as he has sponsored a child overseas and has contributed to causes in support of humanitarian relief efforts all over the globe, including the ongoing relief efforts in support of the Haitian people.

My favorite subjects were civics, history, public policy, and anything focused on technology.

What was your first job?

I’m certified as an insurance agent, and my first job was in the insurance industry.

Where and how did you first get into the industry you currently work in?

My particular skillset closely aligned with the needs of Quick Link Marketing (now known as Managed Benefits Services), so it was an ideal situation for both parties.

How have those jobs prepared you for what you do now?

There is always something you can learn from every job, even if the job itself is in a completely unrelated industry; it’s just a matter of recognizing the many ways to apply the lessons learned from previous work experiences.

Describe the best day of work you’ve ever had.

I love a challenge, so I enjoy the days where we have to deal with an unpredictable situation or circumstance and must find a workable solution in short order.

How do you keep yourself motivated?

We’ve created a highly collaborative environment, so my colleagues rely on me in the same way I rely on them, keeping us all motivated to be as productive as possible at all times.

What kind of business ideas excite you most?

Business ideas that are the product of input coming from a variety of sources typically excite me most, probably since they are typically the best and most well-rounded ideas.

Have you ever tried any unorthodox techniques to attract attention to your business?

As long as we have data or some other indication that a technique will achieve a specific goal or objective, we are always more than willing to try something unorthodox.

What personal achievement are you most proud of?

I’m proud that my professional success has allowed me to support important local and global charities and philanthropic efforts.

What wisdom you would have liked to share with yourself when you first started out?

Don’t be concerned about asking too many questions; it’s always best to seek clarification and to make sure everyone is on the same page before starting work on an important project or assignment.
